2Bee Inspired Workshop – July 2023 – Mixed Media Seaworld Panel Workshop

This mixed media workshop will be held in Canberra on Saturday 8th July, and will take approx 4.5 hours.

This workshop will include the following materials;

• Wooden panel
• Resin Pieces
• Metallic wax
• Stencil
• Selection of Finnabair Mechanicals
• Allegro paint
• Chipboard cogs
• Art Stones
• Lace/string

What to Bring;

• Your own tools – apron, brushes (one for glue and one for paint/gesso and a stencil brush for the waxes), palette knife
• Black Gesso [Recommended Finnabair Heavy Gesso Black Tube (962968)]
• Heavy Body Gel or 3D Gloss Gel (Recommended Finnabair Art Basics – Super Heavy Gel (963040); Finnabair Art Basics – 3D Gloss Gel Tube (962982); or Finnabair Art Basics – 3D Gloss Gel (961381)) – this will be used for the resin and metal pieces
• Stamperia Extra Strong Glue (DC07GN)
• Glossy accents or PVA glue (for art stones)
• Heat Gun.
• Paper towel and wet wipes.
• disposable gloves (if you don’t like to get messy hands).
• Please bring a craft mat or puppy pad to protect the table.
• Extra bits to add to your project that make it your own.
• Your Creativity! While we show you the techniques, your project is your own and we encourage you to add your own touches.
