This workshop will be held in Canberra on Saturday 10th June 2023
Come and create a beautiful handpainted item of your choice. You will learn how to paint on these surfaces and give it your own style.

This workshop will include the materials;
- Stamperia rice paper (DFSA4701, DFSA4700/DFSA4698) – you have enough to make two items such as a pencil case/latop cover and apron/canvas journal cover*
- Stamperia Allegro paint (ivory and black)
*Note: These items are not made to be washable but can be wiped with a damp cloth. We do have Stamperia WashIt that can be applied to make it washable but we have not tried this yet….it can be mixed as a medium with the Allegro paints to be washable…have a go and try it (limited stock in the shop though).
What to Bring;
- Your own tools – craft mat, apron, brushes (for paints and glues), palette knife, scissors.
- Your own apron (black cotton best from Kmart), pencil case, fabric canvas, or laptop cover (fabric ones) – can get these from Officeworks, Kmart, Big W etc.
- At least 118ml – 250 ml jar of White Gesso (lightweight)
- Allegro paint colours – favourites
- Stamperia Mixed Media Glue (must have!!!)
- Paint pen – black and white (optional)
- Favourite number and script stamps. I used Stampers Anonymous stamp set CMS
- Archival Ink – Jet Black (or any archival black ink)
- Life of Colour paint pen – both black and white (fine tip)
- Your Creativity! While we show you the techniques, your project is your own and we encourage you to add your own touches. You can apply this technique to handbags, shoes, journal covers etc. I will be bringing some different things to show you…
Anything you don’t have, we have in our store….we will have it on the day so no stressing.
